We are happy to tell you that the biggest international student event in the region Hauts-de-France, organized by the University of Lille, is coming in a week!  This year, the International Student Week is to be hold between 15th and 22nd November.

 

During this week, three events will take place in Sciences Po Lille :

Conference-Debate in Spanish on the 7th November : "ETA, Acto final".

Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome Professor Michael Sutton for a class on "National Identities and Geopolitics in the European Union and the Wider Europe"

The international relation office wishes you an enjoyable and restful Autumn Break.

 

Here are a few information about this week:

  • Emmanuel Buteau will be out of office during this week but you can reach Estelle Vanzato from Monday 29th to Wednesday 31st

  • Sciences Po Lille’s building will stay open during this week but will close earlier; At 7:30pm on Monday 29th and at at 7pm during the rest of the week

  • The Library will have normal opening hours (9am – 10pm)

Sciences Po Lille is happy to present here the 3 recently signed International cooperation agreements which makes us exceed the target of 220 international partners:

  • Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil

  • Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicas

  • Örebro University

The International Programs and Services will be delighted to welcome students from these institutions in the future and to propose them as “possibilities/opportunities” for the mandatory 3rd year abroad.

Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome Dr. Elise Féron for a class on “Tools for Conflict Analysis”.

Dr. Elise Féron is researcher at the Tampere Peace Research Centre in Finland. Her research interests go from Diasporas and Conflicts, Gender-Based Violence in Conflict Zones, Gender and Peace Negotiations, Interstate Post-Colonial Relations, The Great Lakes Region of Africa, to Northern Ireland.

Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome Professor Geta Risnoveanu for a class on " Sustainable Development in the Eastern European Countries".

Dr. Geta Risnoveanu is a Professor at University of Bucharest, Department of Systems Ecology and Sustainability. Her research activities were mainly addressed to structure, productivity and assessment of the ecological state of freshwaters; development of the methodology for WFD implementation at national level; mechanisms of biological productivity and material and energetic fluxes in eutrophycated systems.
