Today, on January 21st, we had a Galette des Rois at the Cafeteria! The Galette des Rois is a typical French cake in which you can find a small item called fève if you're in luck. In this case, you become a king or a queen and can wear a paper crown.

Francesco Vitali got a PhD in “History of Modern Europe. National Cultures and idea of Europe” at “La Sapienza – University of Rome” in 2005. Since 2019 he has been a member of the editorial Staff of the historical reviews «Giornale di Storia» and «Nuova Rivista Storica».

Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome Crawford Gribben for a class on “Apocalypse - the history and anthropology of the end of the world”.

Crawford Gribben is professor of history at Queen’s University Belfast, and is the author of several books that investigate apocalyptic cultures, including most recently Survival and resistance in evangelical America (Oxford University Press, 2021).

Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome Professor Ousmane ZINA from the Université Alassane Ouattara (Bouaké) from January 13th 2025 to teach the class Le Métier de l'Elu Local!
