Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome Professor Antonia Graf for a class on “Sustainability and Social Justice”.
Antonia Graf studied Political Science, Sociology and German Studies at the University of Münster. In 2016 she obtained her PhD in the discipline of Political Sciences, looking at the discursive power of transnational organisations in the Sustainability field.

The International Students went to the European Parliament in Brussels last Friday!

They got to know the European Parliament and its structure better:

The European Union: What and Why ? - the main achievements of the European Union, the institutions

The European Parliament: Its powers and roles, and its defence of liberty and democracy

They also visited the hemicylcle.

Luckily, the weather was sunny!

 

 

Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome Professor Manuel Alcantara who is giving a class on “Presidentialism and Democracy in Latin America” from March 25th until April 5th 

Universidad Complutense de Madrid PhD in 1984; Universidad de Salamanca Political Science Full Professor since 1993 and now Visiting Professor at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín (Colombia).

Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome Professor Valérie Gorin who will give a class on “Humanitarian Communication: Contexts and challenges” from march 21st until april 4th. 

  

Sciences Po Lille will receive the new International Exchange Students on Thursday 10th of January.

We are delighted to welcome 120 new international exchange students coming from the 5 continents and from our 220 international partners. These students will be among us for the Spring semester.

The International Team wishes a great experience to everyone. We will always be there to help international exchange students to enjoy Sciences Po Lille, Lille, France, and Europe…

Dear students,
International relation office wishes all Sciences Po Lille students, our internationally mobile students and international students a happy Christmas break and a successful start to the New Year 2019.

The International Students had the opportunity to visit the European Parliament in Brussels.

They visited the hemicylcle and were explained how this centre of European democracy functions, what its powers are, and which historic votes have taken place within its walls.

Some of our International Students had the opportunity to visit The Palais Bourbon, in Paris, this Friday. It is a prestigious historical building, and also the pinnacle of French institutional life and the effective demonstration of democracy at work.

 

 

 

Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome Professor Guy Spielmann from Georgetown University for a class on “Politics as Spectacle from Alcibiades to Trump”.

Guy Spielman’s major area of scholarship covers performing arts in the Early Modern Era, with a particular focus on stagecraft, fairground theater and commedia dell'arte.

We are happy to tell you that the biggest international student event in the region Hauts-de-France, organized by the University of Lille, is coming in a week!  This year, the International Student Week is to be hold between 15th and 22nd November.
