"Teaching at Sciences Po Lille this year has been an enormous honour and pleasure."
"The staff are extremely welcoming and made sure that I found my way round the new building, which is stunning: it combines beautiful old architecture with a very creative use of glass and steel to create a wonderful atmosphere, especially in the amphitheatres where I delivered my lectures."
"As in previous years, the students were brilliant. Their engagement with the topic and their incisive questions and comment underscores the top quality recruitment and ambition of Sciences Po Lille."
Dr Pabst joined the univertsity of Kent in 2009 as a lecturer in politics. Previously he gained a PhD in political thought and philosophy of religion from Cambridge (2002-06) and held a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship at Nottingham (2007-09).
Both his teaching and research are situated at the interstice of political theory, political economy and international relations (particularly British and continental European politics). Dr Pabst also has a strong interest in the role of ethics and religion in politics.
