Sciences Po Lille is happy to welcome Dr Benjamin Barber for a conference and a debate on his latest publication "If Mayors Ruled the World".
Benjamin Barber is a Senior Research Scholar at the Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society at The Graduate Center, The City University of New York, Founder and President of CivWorld, Walt Whitman Professor of Political Science Emeritus, Rutgers University.
B. Barber has acted as a counselor to dozens of organizations and agencies concerned with citizenship, civil society, community service, education and democracy. He consults regularly with political and civic leaders in the United States and around the world (President B. Clinton, President R. Herzog, President M. Kucan or the Swedish Liberla Party among many others).
B. Barber appears frequently on television, including CNN, Fox News, Fox Business, the Tavis Smiley Show, Bill Moyers Journal, Charlie Rose
